Three Seasons in One Month!

Categories: Missionary Prayer Letter

Praise the Lord for a wonderful month! God continues to bless my deputation trail. This is one of my busiest month this year in regards to meetings. I have been in different parts of the country and even into Canada this month. I experienced winter, fall, and summer all at the same month. Through these meetings the Lord saw fit to have me enjoy several wonderful churches.  God did many wonderful things from saving souls, seeing His people give generously and seeing His children surrender their lives to Him. I picked up more prayer partners and even some financial partners. Currently I am at 25% of my support. Thank you all for praying I ask that you please continue.

East Sunsbury Baptist Church

East Sunsbury Baptist Church

God has provided me with another exciting missions conference to be a part of! I was at East Sunsbury Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Cox. I have known him ever since I was 13 years old through Summer Camp. It was wonderful to meet the church people and see their love for worldwide missions. Pastor Cox had all of us missionaries sing together in an ensemble which he named “The Lower Lights.” We sang a couple of times during the week. Also we were able to help the church pass out several thousand candy bags with gospel tracts in them at a local parade that they were involved with. Please pray that God would used this effort to see souls come to Him.

Spring City Baptist ChurchI was given the privilege to be invited by Spring City Baptist Church in Lebanon, VA for their missions conference. I had a great time. I was treated very well, better than I deserve. It was wonderful to be around people that have a vision for worldwide missions. It was amazing to witness them meet their missions goal for this year with one offering. They were able to raise over $30,000 on a Sunday evening. It was something I had never experienced before. Through God’s grace His people were able to perform what they have committed to Him. I also helped them in putting together New Testaments that they wanted  to send to Jamaica. I am so glad that God can use me to do His work of saving souls.

Honduras Trip!

The beginning of September was an exciting time for me! I was able to go on a missions trip with my home church to Honduras. We visited a missionary that we have been supporting for a while. He has started a church in Tegucigalpa, the capitol. Please pray for Honduras and their current political troubles. Due to the unrest, we were not able to participate in door to door evangelism or any kind of public outreach; however, we were given the opportunity to hold a one day vacation Bible school. There were about 40 children that showed up praise the Lord! We also painted the missionary’s house, built a pavilion for where the children meet for backyard Bible school and walls at the church to give them more Sunday School rooms. I thank the Lord for His protection.
