Praise the Lord for !Benny and Sonny!  They have been coming faithfully to Grace Baptist Church, Greenville, PA since we invited them to the missions conference this past October, 2009. The Sunday after our wedding they brought their grandchildren to church and Pastor Troyer was able to lead both of them to the Lord. Please continue praying for Benny and Sonny!

Also Elizabeth and I purchased our tickets for the Philippines.  We leave on January 28, 2010 and return to the States on February 27, 2010.  This visit will serve as a survey trip for us.  Please pray that God would use us during this time.  We are so excited about what God has done and continues to do in our lives.  Hallelujah!!!

What an amazing month! this has been a life changing time for me! I started the month with a missions conference with Pastor Huber and Walker Bible Baptist Church in Hilton, NY near Lake Ontario. I had a great time with them! The messages were wonderful and encouraging. I enjoyed some wonderful local pizza and wings. You can only find this kind of food in Western New York. I am going to miss it when Elizabeth and I move to the Philippines. Their idea of good chicken is Balot. It’s a half incubated chicken or duck egg that has been boiled. Yum!

I was also able to be a part of a mission conference with Elizabeth at her home church, Grace Baptist Church, Greenville, PA. We had a good time! It was our first mission conference together. Pastor Troyer asked me to preach for them several times during the conference and Elizabeth and I sang a special the last night of conference. The Lord worked mightily. Elizabeth and I had a part in inviting a couple that attended several times during the conference. Their names are Benny and Sonny. Benny, Sonny’s wife, is a Filipina from Baguio, Luzon, Philippines. Elizabeth and I had a good time with them. Please pray that they would continue to attend the church.
