We started another semester of Bible College! This year, we have 7 students and 2 of them have started their internship. One the interns will finish the school year at their home church on Malapascua Island. She is now playing the piano and helping her church teach children’s classes. What a blessing to see our students grow and be a blessing to their pastors!  Please pray for us as we attempt to ground these students in the Bible and practical ministry. We pray the Lord will continue to use our school to equip young people to serve the Lord, wherever He calls them!

May was the month of graduations. Our fourth-year student, Raymond Hibaya, graduated from Lighthouse Baptist College!  We’ve been blessed to watch him grow and learn over the years. He has been a tremendous blessing to us, working with the teens as a young college student and then leading them while we were on furlough. Please pray for Raymond as he interns at the church this coming year. We are excited about his future and what the Lord is going to do in his life!

Our Graduates and College Staff

Sunday was graduation day in the Philippines! Two of our Bible college students graduated with their 4-year degrees! The only thing that could have made this moment sweeter was if we could have been there too. We are so thankful to have had a part in their journey! We enjoyed watching them grow and we are so excited about their future! Congratulations guys! You probably never thought this day would come but you made it! We are so proud of you both!

Gift Program Graduates 2016

It’s that time of year again! Graduation! This year, three students completed the GIFT Program. The word GIFT is an acronym which stands for ‘Grounded in Faith Training’. It’s a course that encourages young people to give one year of their life to ground themselves in Biblical principles. Please keep these students in your prayers! Two of them would like to continue their studies and earn their Pastoral/Christian Service Degree! We thank the Lord for these students and can’t wait to see what God is going to do in their lives!
