Old Time Baptist Church

Old Time Baptist Church

God is so good. I was at my first missions conference this past week and I am on my second one this week. I might have another missions conference after this current one. I am so thrilled that God has opened the doors for me to present my work at these churches. I was given a special opportunity at my first missions conference. They asked me to preach the closing message of the missions conference. I feel so privileged and humbled. Praise His holy name!

This past Sunday morning the Lord used Pastor Kohl’s message to convince some people of their need of the Saviour. I was able to talk a fellow by name of Frank (28 years old) who attended our church this past Sunday for the first time. He just recently got out of prison. His heart was soft after the message and praise the Lord he made a decision for the Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for his continued growth in Christ. May he be baptized and added to the church.

I praise the Lord for His amazing grace and mercy. God has given me another year. I celebrated by 24th birthday this past Valentines day. My family and several of my friends celebrated it with me. I am very thankful to the Lord for my family and friends. They have had a great part in helping me get where I am today.

Pastor Thompson’s Memorial Service was amazing. It is such a blessing to see a saved person go home to heaven. I had such a great time. Thanks the Lord for His protection. It was a long trip due to the fact that we drove to get there rather than fly. It was nice that I did not have to go by myself. Pastor Seth (our assistant pastor) went with me. We had a wonderful time together. In one week with traveled about 50 hours and covered 5 thousand miles. It was an adventure especially in the State of Oklahoma. The roads in Oklahoma were covered with an inch of pure ice. We were only going about 25 mph and we were passing other vehicles. We saw  a few semis jack-knifed and some were upside-down on the sides of the road. God was very good to us. Thank you all for praying for the Thompson Family. Please continue to pray for them.
