After being home from our Philippine survey trip for almost a month, we were finally able to report to our sending church.  It was great to see our church family!  Elizabeth and I gave our testimony about the journey overseas and the many experiences we shared.   I was also able to show our updated presentation to our people.  It’s wonderful to have such support from our church. We don’t take this for granted and praise the Lord for our extended family.  Thank you!

It has been a crazy August with so much going on, but that is are normal schedule around here in our church. We try to take advantage of the nice weather. In the beginning of the  month we participated in our local parade. We were able to pass out about two thousand packets that contained information about our church, a gospel tract, and a John and Romans. We would have passed out more but half way in the parade it started raining and they canceled it due to lightning and thunder. I along with several others were soak and wet. Please pray that these packets would be used by the Lord to draw people to Himself.

The last time that I ministered in Gowanda nursing home I was involve with trumpet quartet. We played the hymn “My Jesus I love Thee” the seniors were blessed. We are not professional trumpet players. We just want to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am working hard to master the trumpet. I have a long ways to go. The next time you hear or sing this wonderful hymn may it cause you to think of the love of our Lord that constrains us and how we showed love Him back. We love Him because He first loved us.

IMG_0364This past Saturday I was able to go with a group of people from our church to another festival in a park in Buffalo, NY. There was a lot of people. We handed out hundreds of tracts and talked to several people. No one received Christ as Savior however, the seed of the Word of God was planted in many hearts. I was able to briefly share some spiritual insights to a couple of young teenage boys. They had a short attention span. Please pray that they would read the tract and make the right decision in accepting Christ. Also I was given the opportunity to practice the little Spanish I know with a PuertoRican family that was having a picnic and eating some wonderful food. I was able to talk to them for awhile and they treated me very well. They even gave me some of the food they were eating.  Please pray for their salvation.
