January was an exciting month for us!  Elizabeth and I were in our first official missions conference together as husband and wife.  The meeting took place in Broad Top Pennsylvania, with Pastor O’Bryon and New Hope Baptist Church.  It was a wonderful conference to start out together.  The fellowship was sweet and the church was a great blessing to us.   I was able to preach Sunday night and present our burden for Cebu, Philippines. We look forward to our future meetings, serving the Lord together!

Prayer and Praise (December 2009)

Praise Him!  We picked up two more supporting churches!  Pastor Suttle of Spring City Baptist Church in Cleveland, Virginia and Pastor Nutt of Lake Erie Baptist Church in Brocton, New York.  With these new churches we are now up to 28% of our support.  Also pray for a couple of churches that have talked to us concerning support.  May the Lord’s will be done.

Please continue to pray for our survey trip to the Philippines coming up this January 28, 2010-February 27, 2010.  We are looking forward to it!

Please pray for me as I book meetings for this coming year and that God would lead us to the right places.

Snow Camp!

After Christmas we headed off to camp with our church teens.  What an awesome three days!  We braved the cold and the activities to try to make an impact on these young lives.  There was one particular young man, Anthony, we had been praying for to get saved.  He had just started coming to our church and up to that point had never heard the gospel.  This is sadly becoming the case for more and more teens in our country.  Anthony was a foster child with a very rough background but praise the Lord, he received Christ as his personal Savior on the very last night of camp.  Since that time he has changed drastically and faithfully attends our church.  He’s been a great encouragement to us.  Please continue to pray for him as he still has many obstacles to overcome.

A Gift from the Children

On Decemer 27th we were in Fredonia, New York with Pastor Burke and Victory Baptist Church for Sunday School.  The children had been taking a special offering for us for seven weeks prior to this date and presented us with this gift. Though our time was short we enjoyed being with these young ones.  It’s exciting to think of what they will some day do for for the Lord if they follow Him.
