Never underestimBaptism Collageate the influence of a mother! A mother can sow the seeds of faith in her children as she daily cares for their needs. When a mother faithfully attends church, she shows her children that God is real and that He is a major part of life. There is a dear lady that has attended NCBC for years with her large family of boys and two little girls. Her oldest child is enrolled in our Bible college and her youngest is only a toddler. It is this mother’s desire to see her children love the Lord and serve Him! Two of her middle sons accepted Christ as their Savior and wanted to be baptized! The smiles on their faces tell a wonderful story of faith…a faith that they first saw in their mother.

Ate Janet & PastorWe were so happy to see Miss Janet baptized in March! Her family has been a great blessing to our church for many years now. It all started when her daughters first came to our children’s classes years ago. They were just little tikes at the time…then Miss Janet started to come too!  Now Miss Janet and her daughters are all Christians, trusting the Lord with their souls!  It was a blessing to see her baptized and take this step of faith. Baptism never saved anyone.  The Lord has made it clear in Scripture that He alone can save us from sin. Baptism simply helps the Christian tell the world of their faith. Please join Miss Janet and our church as we pray that her husband would also be saved!

Miss EmeldaWe were excited to see three people baptized last Sunday! One of them was a lady who started coming on our route earlier this year. After attending our church for a few weeks she made the decision to trust Christ with her soul. It wasn’t long after that she asked to follow Christ’s example and be baptized. Baptism did not save her soul, Christ did. He did it all when He died on the cross.  Through her baptism, Miss Emelda was simply proclaiming to the world that she had become a Christian, a follower of Christ! We praise the Lord for this lady and her decision to give her life to Christ!
