This Mother’s Day my wife was asked to speak at a Mother~Daughter Banquet in Greenville, Pennsylvania.  As you can imagine, Elizabeth was  very excited to celebrate this special day for the first time as a mother!  We haven’t experienced all the joys of parenthood yet but we are certainly looking forward to it!  As we enter this new chapter in our lives we are becoming increasingly aware of the great responsibility that comes with parenting. I’m so thankful that the Lord has written so much about children and how we should raise them!  With His help Elizabeth and I will provide a home that encourages our children to love the Lord and to have their own personal relationship with Him.  Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Our home church celebrated its 28th anniversary this year!  We are so thankful for Pastor Kohl and the ministry there in Eden, New York. It is a blessing to have a home church that has a heart for people!  Praise the Lord, a dear couple received Christ as their Savior on that special day! It’s exciting to see the Lord still drawing sinners to Himself.  In these dark days we need to shine as lights, pointing the lost to a loving Savior.  What a blessing to have a church that is still actively trying to make a difference in the lives of people.

As the time approaches the birth of our baby we cannot help but be excited and prepare. Our friends and loved ones at Faith Bible Baptist Church had a great part in getting the things we needed for our little one.  Diapers, socks, outfits, blankets, and shoes! Who knew a baby needed so many things!  The dear folks at Grace Baptist Church were also a blessing to our family.  We were overwhelmed with all the love and support we received from both churches! It’s amazing to see all He has provided for us and our Abigail.  It won’t be long before she comes and changes our lives forever!

It was a blessing to return to Conewango Baptist Church for their Sunday services!  The Lord has made it possible for this church to see every phase of our ministry.  The first time I was with them I was still single and just beginning deputation.  The second time I went back I was courting my wife, contemplating on how I was going to propose.  After this I was finally able to go back with Elizabeth as my wife, and now we were able to return with our little one on the way.  Knowing us as they do, the church is very excited about our ministry and expanding family.  We’re thankful for all the churches that have become our friends throughout deputation!  The prayer support we have received has been a major blessing to our ministry!
