We were in a three day missions conference in Jamestown, NY with Pastor Erickson and Lighthouse Baptist Church.  I had gone to Pastor Erickson’s church many years ago when my family and I would visit my grandmother.  It was neat to go back to Lighthouse Baptist Church as a missionary.  I’m amazed to see what the Lord has done in my life in such a short amount of time. During the conference the church hosted an amazing International dinner. The people really went all out and took care of our needs throughout the entire conference.  Deputation has been a great experience for my wife and I.  The Lord has brought a lot of wonderful people across our path.

After being in their missions conference earlier this year, Pastor Staub invited us back for a one day meeting. It was great to see everyone again!  The Wednesday night service was well attended and it was really neat to have several individuals let us know they’ve been keeping us in prayer.  That’s a wonderful encouragement!  Financial support is always a huge blessing but what’s even better is the prayer of fellow believers.

It was a blessing to return to Anchor Baptist Church and present our work.  This church is located in a very nice store front and is just eighteen months old.  Early on in this ministry, Pastor Jamison introduced missions to his people and I think the Lord has blessed them for it. They currently have thirty to forty people going to their church!  It was a blessing to see a faithful group not only attend services but also help out in the nursing home ministry.

We were able to take part in a missions emphasis meeting this past Sunday.  Pastor Brenly invited me to come and preach for all three services and also allowed my wife to play her violin. Mrs. Julie Brenly has been a friend of my wife since they were very young although they hadn’t seen each other for years.  After the morning service we had time to fellowship and enjoyed some good food.  It was evident that this church has a heart for missions. They already support close to forty missionaries.
