We went to Hilton, New York to be with Walker Bible Baptist Church for the first night of their missions conference.  They have been our friends for many years and now they are also one of our supporting churches.  It has almost been a year since they decided to partner with us financially and prayerfully, and for this we are very grateful. We count it a privilege to represent churches and be their extension to the Philippines.

Our next meeting took place in Berlin Heights, Ohio with Pastor Cotterill and Berlin Heights Baptist Church.  It was a great Missions Emphasis Day and we enjoyed getting to know the people. I was given the opportunity to preach and my wife played the violin.  While we were at the church the pastor’s family pointed out the fact that Thomas Edison’s birthplace, Milan, OH was just down the road.  It’s neat to see the roots of men who went on to change history.  It was a great day spent with the people of Berlin Heights Baptist Church!  We hope to see them again someday in our travels.

We were invited to Templo Bautista del Monte Calvario to be a part of a missions conference there in Austin, Texas.  It was an awesome week!  The people were very friendly and personable.  This Spanish church started as a ministry of Capitol City Baptist Church and has grown into a thriving work. I really got to know the people while I attended college at Capitol City Baptist Church.  It was great to go back and introduce my wife to the church and see how they were doing.  Words cannot express our thankfulness for all they did for us while we were with them! This church was an enormous blessing to us and we pray the Lord will greatly bless them for that!

The Lord provided the opportunity for me to return to Austin, Texas where I attended college at Capitol City Baptist Church.  The people there became very special to me during my four years of institute.  This was the first time that I was able to go back with my wife and present our work as a couple.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting friends and meeting new faces at the church.  They have been faithfully supporting us for a year now!
