School is over and we’ve entered the season of graduations! Every student with passing grades is celebrated in a moving up ceremony. This is a great opportunity for us to meet the families of our teenagers. We also witnessed the graduation of the senior class we taught this year in the public school. We were so thankful for the opportunity to share Christ and His Word with them! As for next year, God has already answered our prayers! The principal asked if we could teach more classes this coming school year!

I love it when unique things happen and it’s clear that God just did something that only He can do! I was running errands around Cebu City one day and happened to meet the Mayor of Ubay. Ubay is a city on Bohol Island where, the Suico family, one of our own missionaries live. In fact, my family and I have been assisting them as they remodel their church and reach out to the community. I had a great talk with the Mayor and so the next time I was in Ubay, Pastor Rackson and I, visited him. Because the Mayor remembered our earlier meeting, we had no problem making an appointment. Pastor Rackson invited him to join their special services and we were able to plant seeds of the Gospel! I am grateful for this divine appointment and for the Lord’s work in our lives! Please pray that this man will be saved!
Elizabeth’s brother came to visit us for a couple of weeks! It was so good to see him again. The kids enjoyed playing ball in the park and reading with Uncle Daniel. It’s moments like these they’ll treasure forever!
On his previous visits, Bro. Daniel spent a lot of time with Pastor Walter and his family so it was our privilege to visit them again on Bantayan Island! So much has happened since the last time Daniel was with us. The Langbids have started a ministry on Bantayan Island and it is blooming! Several local families came together and built a building for them to meet in. The area seems so remote but the government is making plans to relocate several families right behind the church property. God is bringing people to His church! We plan to return to Bantayan this summer and help the Langbids with several outreach ministries!
We are so thankful for our time with Daniel and the Langbid family. They both were such a tremendous encouragement to our hearts!
