Found this gem of a book and decided to add it to our site. It was written back yonder in the 1800′s but is so much still needed today: The Duties of Parents – John Charles Ryle (1816-1900)

In the book the author reminds us that we need to train our children rightly. He lists several very important areas that need training:

1. Knowledge of the Bible
2. To develop a habit of prayer, faith, obedience, and always speak the truth
3. To be diligent
4. To redeem the time
5. Not to over-indulge
6. … and much more (17 chapters in total)
