Found this gem of a book and decided to add it to our site. It was written back yonder in the 1800′s but is so much still needed today: The Duties of Parents – John Charles Ryle (1816-1900)

In the book the author reminds us that we need to train our children rightly. He lists several very important areas that need training:

1. Knowledge of the Bible
2. To develop a habit of prayer, faith, obedience, and always speak the truth
3. To be diligent
4. To redeem the time
5. Not to over-indulge
6. … and much more (17 chapters in total)

Listen to 4 excellent messages from our Annual Southern Camp Meeting in the North. For over 10 years now our church has had the honor of hosting the first night of the Camp Meetings. These Camp meetings are unique in that each night for two weeks a different church holds the meeting. Evangelist Leon Foote brings some of his Southern preaching buddies up to “warm up the North.”
