For the past four years, we have been talking to our landlord about Christ.<\/strong> <\/em>She has been a staunch Catholic all her life; but like so many in Cebu, she is very curious to know what makes a Baptist different from a Catholic. Over the years, we have tried to show her Christ\u2019s words, <em>\u201cI am the way\u2026no man cometh unto the Father BUT BY ME.\u201d<\/em> &amp;\u00a0\u201c<em>Not by works of righteousness which we have done\u2026\u201d<\/em> it is by Christ\u2019s work alone that we can go to heaven someday. To this day she has never visited our church&#8230;but this year marks the second time she has attended our Valentine Banquet!
