{"id":1708,"date":"2012-11-22T02:06:04","date_gmt":"2012-11-22T07:06:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fbbc.com\/chrisbaran\/?p=1708"},"modified":"2015-12-10T04:01:18","modified_gmt":"2015-12-10T09:01:18","slug":"a-thankful-heart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fbbc.com\/chrisbaran\/a-thankful-heart\/","title":{"rendered":"A Thankful Heart"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"imagestage\" class=\"imageStage\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>As we celebrated Thanksgiving this year I found myself reviewing all that has happened in my life and there<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>is just so much to be thankful for!<\/strong> \u00a0Who would have thought that by 2012 I would be in the Philippines, \u00a0have a lovely wife, a precious little girl, and baby number two on the way! \u00a0Our first seven months on the field have been so greatly blessed. \u00a0 We have benefited from the wisdom and friendship of the Lewis family, who have helped us sidestep many obstacles and taught us how to face others. \u00a0We were also able to find a house quickly, enabling us to settle into our new home. \u00a0In the short time we have been here we have even seen people trust Christ as their only way to heaven. \u00a0I know a lot of work and planning has been done to get us here in Cebu but I also realize that without the Lord our plans are futile. \u00a0In this Thanksgiving season I have to direct my praise to the One Who has enabled me to serve Him.\u00a0 My very breath, my life is in His hands.
