{"id":1415,"date":"2012-04-10T02:45:58","date_gmt":"2012-04-10T07:45:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fbbc.com\/chrisbaran\/?p=1415"},"modified":"2015-03-26T08:44:03","modified_gmt":"2015-03-26T13:44:03","slug":"our-new-life-in-cebu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fbbc.com\/chrisbaran\/our-new-life-in-cebu\/","title":{"rendered":"Our New Life in Cebu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Things have been busy as we settle into this beautiful country. \u00a0<\/strong>Our time here has almost added up to one month and we&#8217;re still adjusting to the new culture and climate. \u00a0Right now we&#8217;re in the middle of the Philippine summer and temperatures can easily rise to almost a hundred degrees with humidity. \u00a0Back home this would be enough to keep most people in their homes but here it is a daily part of life that the people have learned to live with. \u00a0<strong>Abigail is adjusting well and loves her new surroundings.<\/strong> \u00a0Her blue eyes and light colored hair have made her a tiny celebrity. She has been a great conversation starter with different people as we travel on public transportation. \u00a0I think she would make a great soul winning partner! \u00a0Easter came and with it, Holy week, one of the biggest holidays in the Philippines. \u00a0It&#8217;s a time when people take vacation and celebrate&#8230;and almost nothing can be done throughout the week. \u00a0I was reminded of this when I went to get our P.O.
